The case study of the Masterplan for the Sant’Angelo District focuses on creating a regulatory plan based on data collected through the laboratory component of the course. The process involved planning conferences, starting with an initial framework from the "Municipality" group, feedback from classmates representing stakeholders, and semester-long laboratory work. The final step was developing a Masterplan that includes a mobility plan and key projects. The project was completed in collaboration with Arch. Osman Emre Selvi, Arch. Beyza Demir, Arch. Mariana Olguin Galicia, Arch. Colleen Doherty, Arch. Marzieh Karimi, Arch. Marya Sivets.

The project began with identifying stakeholders (hospitality, restaurants, commercial sectors, and local community) and collecting initial data to set goals and strategies. The next phase included public consultations through planning conferences to integrate public needs, identify issues, and recognize opportunities. During the drafting phase, maps for mobility plans, zoning regulations, and implementation strategies were created. Continuous classroom feedback refined the final Masterplan for the Sant’Angelo District.

The course of the Rehabilitation and Urban Regeneration Laboratory was held by Prof. Mario Cerasoli and Arch. Alessandra Pusceddu during the spring semester of 2023/24, as a part of the curriculum of the Master's degree in Architecture (Conservation) of Sapienza University of "Rome". The project was awarded the high honors grade "30 e lode."
